This is why I write.

July 26, 2010

Hello darlings! It’s been so long, I know. I’d like to say that there’s a good reason for my brief estrangement with the blogosphere. A good answer I can give for that is Mad Men episodes online that have consumed my very uneventful days. A better answer is a severe case of writer’s block as […]

My Top Five.

June 10, 2010

I know, I know. I’ve become a retrospective blogger. Consider it postmodern. Then it would be a good thing. Old news, but…

Ridley Scott’s new film Robin Hood will open this year’s Cannes Film Festival on May 12. Hopefully this means I’ll be able to see it two days before you can. And then tell you how it is, of course. Scott (Thelma and Louise, Blade Runner, Black Hawk Down and perhaps most famously Gladiator) has a […]

Cannes Poster Unveiled!

March 28, 2010

You might not care. I do, very much. The big guys over in Cannes revealed the official poster for this year’s Film Festival. Here it is: It has Juliette Binoche on it. Juliette Binoche! I love that woman! Could this be a sign? Will Cannes be the best time of my life? Most likely.
